Dominik Brokelmann

Dominik Brokelmann is the founder and CEO of the Brodos group. With his visionary mindset, Dominik Brokelmann is the author of numerous blog contributions and often speaks at industry events. Over the years, his access to top management in the industry, both as an important business partner and as a supplier to all types of retail businesses, have allowed him to gain an in-depth view of the transformation taking place in the retail sector. His frequent trips to Asia and North America to attend trade fairs or to meet customers have formed the basis of the continued development of the Brodos group and its strategy for many years.

Michael Prade

Michael Prade is Head of Cross Channel Evangelists at the Brodos Group. He has been employed by the Brodos Group for more than 10 years, making a major contribution to developing all tools. As a speaker, he is responsible for spreading the word about the new technology and solutions in the area of cross channel at trade fairs, conferences, congresses and retailer meetings, generating enthusiasm for the opportunities on offer. His mission is to listen to customers and keep up to date at all times with the latest technical developments.

Felix Dingermann

Felix Dingermann, Director Application Management, and his team are the driving force behind the strategy and development of the Connected Store and its technology. As a ‘digital native’, and with his strong affinity for all things internet, he focusses on the challenges facing ‘bricks and mortar’ retail, and how to overcome them. He is also responsible for the operations of the technology underpinning the Connected Store. Hence, he has deep insights into the implementation of true cross-channel strategies. As a regular speaker at trade shows, congresses and and industry events, he stays in touch with retailers and has intimate knowledge of the challenges they face when adapting their strategy. He travels frequently to Asia and North America in his role as managing director of the India-based development centre of excellence, in order to catch up with the latest technology trends.

ISPO – 31 Januar 2018 in Munich

The ISPO (International Exhibition for Sport Equipment and Sport Fashion) has developed from the largest annual multi-segment exhibition for sports equipment and fashion in Munich to a family brand with three international multi-segment trade fairs and a range of services for the sports industry available throughout the year. The family brand ISPO together with all ten individual brands is managed by Messe München GmbH. The exhibition is held every year at the end of January/beginning of February in the Neue Messe, Munich. On 31 January 2018, Mr. Brokelmann held a talk about the connected store, which is currently being used in a number of different sectors.

Christmasworld – 30 January 2018 in Frankfurt

This year, Christmasworld was held on 30 January 2018. As the leading global trade fair for seasonal and festive decorations, Christmasworld attracts major commercial retailers from the wholesale, export and retail markets, who come to Frankfurt every year to place their main orders for the coming season. At the latest count, a total of 43,000 visitors from 110 countries came to Christmasworld and Floradecora to discover the new products and trends displayed by the 1,061 exhibitors from 42 countries. Mr. Brokelmann was invited as a speaker this year, presenting the concept of the connected store.

Omni Channel Forum – 3 November 2017 in Lucerne

On 3rd November, for the fifth time in a row, the Omni Channel Forum presented the latest facts and trends in the retail branch when it comes to the merging of traditional and digital retail channel. Online and offline are merging and becoming ever more intertwined, resulting in a freestyle shopping & retail world where anything goes.
In a talk, Mr. Brokelmann presented the connected store and its cross-channel tools.

German Council Congress – 21 September 2017 in Berlin

Every year, some 500 decision-makers from trade and industry meet for the must-attend two-day congress at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin. The GCSC provides the perfect stage to discuss current issues relating to developments in society and the economy with well-known personalities. This year’s GCC focused entirely on “INTUITION”. CEO Dominik Brokelmann was invited as a speaker, presenting the concept of the connected store. Find out more

Roadshow – 31 May 2017 in Hamburg

“All hands on board!” On 31 May 2017 all Brodos retailers were invited to the launch of our summer roadshow. We extended a warm welcome to all our partners in the Hamburg Fish Market. Whilst enjoying culinary treats, glorous sunshine and a maritime flair fitting to the setting, the nearly 300 guests had the opportunity to find out all about the latest trends and developments on the market.

Roadshow – 15 March 2017 in Würzburg

The first Brodos roadshow kicked off at the Vogel Convention Center in Würzburg with a new concept and agenda. As well as the latest products straight from the Mobile World Congress, the nearly 300 guests were able to enjoy a number of workshops and offers relating to the cross channel concept of the connected store, including the recently revamped shop fitting concept.

Internet World – 8 March 2017 in Munich


The Internet World trade fair has been the event for internet professionals and decision-makers acting on behalf of both providers and users since 1997. On 7 March and 8 March 2017 the Munich exhibition centre was once more devoted to the topic of e-commerce. The trade fair focuses on e-commerce, e-logistics, multi-channel, online marketing, software, e-payment, usability and social media. A comprehensive programme is also offered alongside the trade fair itself: specialist lectures on five stages, discussion forums, guided tours, trend arena with technical attractions and a whole lot more besides. CEO Dominik Brokelmann was invited as a speaker, presenting the cross channel concept of the connected store.

Local Hero Convention & Awards – March 12, 2016 in Würzburg (Germany)


Our annual “Local Hero” Convention & Awards took place on 12th March for the tenth time. This unique industry event took place at the Vogel convention centre in Würzburg, and the lasted for a whole day and a whole night.
We kicked off the Local Hero Convention, the insider get together for retail and telco specialists, right on time at 10am. Leading manufacturers and operators attending the event presented their latest solutions. In addition, visitors could enquire and exchange their views on special offers, benefit from exclusive promotions or get a preview on upcoming new trends and products.

EURONICS Congress – March 06, 2016 in Leipzig (Germany)


The EURONICS Congress is the buying cooperative’s biggest spring event. The congress provides a comprehensive platform to share news for more than 1,000 associated independent dealers. The centralized brand management of the cooperative emphasises product quality as well regular product and customer-centric training.

Mobile World Congress, which was held from Feb 22-25 in Barcelona, is one of the leading events of the wireless industry globally. At the stand of Brightstar, we presented elements of the “Connected Store” to Brightstar clients. We discussed market opportunities with them and the various Brightstar country subsidiaries.

The convention centre in Bamberg/Germany has hosted for the ninth time the annual awards of the most successful entrepreneurs of the my-eXtra franchise, Germany’s independent mobility franchise. During the day, the guests from the across the industry got the latest news about trends and products. During his keynote address, the CEO of Brodos, Dominik Brokelmann, presented his marketing stratgey featuring the “Local Hero”.
